UK Flood Risk was commissioned to prepare a Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) in support of a proposal at the City of London School, 107 Queen Victoria Street, London EC4V 3AL.  The site lies within the Flood Zone 3 (high probability flooding) with the risk of tidal flooding from the River Thames. We undertook a detailed assessment of tidal flood risk arising from the River Thames. For this, a detailed assessment of the Environment Agency’s most up-to-date tidal modelling data and information.  An assessment of the data and information derived from the Thames Estuary 2100 study was undertaken to determine the risk of overtopping of the flood defences during the extreme event of 0.5%AEP (1 in 200 year)  at present and in the future. Also, assessment was done using the Thames Tidal Upriver Breach Inundation Modelling Study 2017. A number of mitigation measures were proposed in order to mitigate the risk of flooding. Also, a site-specific Personal Flood Plan (Flood Warning and Evacuation Plan) was developed for the site.
